ABOUT ME

I am a retired Sheriff’s Sergeant from a major metropolitan sheriff’s department in the Greater Los Angeles area. Since retirement, I’ve worked as an adjunct criminal justice instructor.

I am the grandson of Bernice Johnson and the son of Fred Douglas Johnson.

I’m married to my wife of 37 years, Donelle Douroux Johnson. My wife and I make our home in Commerce City, Colorado, and remain active members of our church. I have two grown daughters who are both married.

I hold two AA degrees—one in Liberal Arts and one in Biblical Studies—and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. I enjoy reading, working out, and watching historically based films.
